Geforce 2 mx400 compaq deskpro prob

I have had this graphics card for about 1 year now and i have never been able to get it to work. When i install it and turn on my pc, it doesn't give me a chance to install any of the drivers, because the screen just turns black. It all loads fine and gets to the desktop, then after about 30 seconds it turns black. Its a agp card and iv'e been told by someone, that you need to edit bios settings or something like that. Is this true and how do you do it? My pc is a compaq deskpro with pentium 3 500mhz and a geforce 2 mx400 agp card. Any help would be great. Thanks Anthony

No, at least i dont think it does. How do you find out if it does or not?
