I am working on a laptop for someone its a gateway laptop 200 E/200ARC I cant get the sound to work. I downloaded the drivers from gateway installed them, went through windows update didnt did everything i could there, all volume setting are on high and Windows says the audio is working fine. But nothing comes out of the speakers or the Headphones when i plug them in. Dont know if it makes any difference but the mic jack works fine.

I can record sound from the mic. I used sound Recorder and it showed the voice jitter when i spoke into the mic.
