Hi,

Could someone please tell me the chipset that is in the Gateway 450 series desktop PC.
I know it holds typically around Pentium 2 chip processor.

... Or to go more specific - I really need to know the IDE Format - eg.. UDMA? UIDE?

Cheers,

Steve

Any ide harddrive up to 120mb will work fine. I have a gateway P2 450 with a new 60gb hdd running win98 and redhat.

I did NOT need to use the overlay/bios extender software to install the drive.
