HELP

My son has a m280 Gateway convertible Laptop

as you know gateway is in Chapter 11 -- no tech support

my son loves gaming--- what graphics card will support his passion and work with the gateway form factor

would an external chip be a better choice?

Thanks mom of jackattack

Sorry to tell you but your son's laptop is not a gaming machine & nothing can be done to turn it into one. The graphics are built into the motherboard & are NOT upgradeable. And external graphics solutions are a waste of money.

If you wanna be able to play games & play them well, you'll need to replace the old Gateway with a new gaming laptop. Lower end models start at about $1000.
