Specs: Windows XP
I bought a new comp the other day specs:
windows xp professional
Processor: i7 920
Video card: geforce gtx 295
motherboard: asus p6t delux v2
ram: 6gb ddr3 cosair 1600mhz (only sees 3gb)
power supply: cosair 750w
sound card: Asus Xonar HDAV 1.3 audio
i downloaded and installed all drivers, new bios ect but when i go to play any game it crashes and im pretty sure its my sound card which is causing this. in fallout 3 it says error:
AppName: fallout3.exe AppVer: ModName: hssrv.dll
ModVer: Offset: 00025cce
i have tried disabling the soundcard and using the motherboard onboard sound but when i do that windows crashes and my computer turns off. would appreciate some ideas thanks :)
