Hello,
im new here

hm i got a new pc (with no spyers or cookies et..)

and my brother has the same pc status as i do( GFX- geforce 8600 gt,2gb ram,1.8ghz dual core+)

and im playing mmorpg game(2moons)

and when im playing i have noticed somthing wronge, and i dont know what cause it,

i suspect its the power supply or the tempeture of the gfx

its like being slower after few minits, and especially when i turn, and intown its work like in slowmotion

but i have much more then the requiments for this game and i tested it on my brother pc and its work fine for him

i downloaded "everest" and my gfx tempeture is about 68-70 Ingame

but i asked my friend and he told me that it might be the power supply which doesnt have enough power and that why the graphic card work so hard and its cause the tempeture..

im Really need your help, im confused.. and its really annoying

As usual, snakeboy's response should be ignored. 2GB RAM *should* be plenty.

We need more info about your system & the game your playing. List your system specs in detail, including the power supply specs....& I don't just mean wattage. We need to know the make/model & amperage ratings on the +3.3v, +5v, & +12v rails.

If it's an online game it could be slowing because of your internet connection or an overloaded server. Plus if you are playing online, you most likely do have "spyers or cookies et.." on your system.

Do you have a bunch of crap loading at startup? Are there numerous icons in the systray (next to the clock)? Have you run MSCONFIG to disable unnecessary programs from laoding at startup? You're not running Vista, are you?

It's not the power supply. Defective power supplies do not 'slow down' a system. They can cause many problems, but not that.
