I just bought the Radeon 9600Pro. Very good card, and got a huge improvement in games, but some games, such as Dungeon Siege don't run well at all. My system is a P4 2GHz with 1 gigabyte of ram, 9600Pro. On dungeon siege, I only get a measly 14FPS average.
On another system, Athlon 1700, 384MB RAM, Geforce 2 MX (that's right, GeForce 2MX) Dungeon siege runs at 50FPS!!
The game was run at 1024 by 768 res, and settings turned to medium-high on both systems. Please explain this to me. Is Dungeon Siege optimized for Nvidia? could be what's causing this

i get 70-90 fps with a crappy radeon 8500le on that game with 2600xp+. Im guessing ur problem is with settings. I haven't played that game in a long time so i cant tell u what and what to change, and i bet they gave u alot more options with radeon 9600 pro then my radeon 8500le so i cant help u there either. But it isnt a hardware problem, its a software problem, probably settings. Good luck
