Hello, I've just bought s new game, and have been noticing wierd stuff going on as I play. Sometimes, and this is only on certain tracks (this is a racing game) the ground or ceiling or walls disappear for half a second to sometimes 5 secs. When the ground disappears, it looks like I'm flying on nothing! It's wierd, and it seems to only happen on the less intense tracks. On the more graphically intense tracks, it does this very little, and on the track with the most graphics, it doesn't do it at all! The game manual says to adjust anti-aliasing, and I've put it to each setting, but nothing changes. Is there anything I have to adjust? (hardware/software)
Hardware:
1.9 Ghz P4 processor, 256MB of DDR RAM, 64MB GeForce 4 MX 440, SB LIVE! sound
Thanks

If it's a brand new game, it's probably a bug in the game, which hopefully will be patched in the near future. Check the vendor's web site for latest patch. Make sure you are using latest nvidia drivers and latest Direct X.

check ur game settings. what version of directx do you have???
make sure you have the lastest motherboard chipset drivers and in the bios make sure all the configurations are correct.

I have DirectX version 8, which came with the game. (or maybe 8.1)
As for bios configurations, I don't know, but I'll check it out. thanks.
