Hi:The Following Ram (Crucial Rendition 1GB 1X1GB PC2-6400 DDR2-800 240PIN DIMM Memory) was in Special So I Bought 3 Sticks to use it with the following motherboard GA-EP45-UD3P But the Gigabyte Tech support Said that Ram is not supported with the GA-EP45-UD3P I would like to know if anybody has used that Ram on a GA-Ep45-UD3P Thanks an advance.
Are you saying you're running 3GB (3 x 1GB)? If so, that will force single channel mode & a slight drop in peformance. You should either have 2 x 2GB, 4 x 1GB, or 2 x 1GB + 2 x 512MB. You didn't state how much you paid but DDR2-800 RAM has been selling for about $10 per 1GB.
