Fujitsu Siemens Xa 3530 monitor refresh rate

Specs: Windows Vista

By default it's generic pnp monitor and refresh rate 60, but I can't find any information which monitor driver I should install to gain refresh rate. 60hz makes my head go dizzy.

"Fujitsu Siemens Xa 3530"

I googled that model number & it shows a laptop with a 17" WXGA+ display with BilliantView that what you're asking about?

Being that it's WXGA+, it should probably be 1440 x 900 @ 60MHz.

Yes, it's laptop with 17" monitor.
I should lower the resolution? Have to try it, but I'm not home at the moment.

Properties --> Advanced ----> Monitor shows "Generic pnp monitor", something tells me that I should be able to install specific driver for that monitor ---> upping refresh rate. Or am I wrong?

Thank you!

There is little to be achieved by increasing the refresh rate of an LCD monitor. Refresh rate was really only important with CRT monitors. Besides there is no such thing as a monitor driver. You may get an .inf file that just tells the graphics driver which resolutions and refresh rates the monitor supports. Even then you are unlikely to get anything above 75Hz.

Becasue an LCD monitor does not flicker like a CRT monitor does, I think your head-spinning symptoms are likely to be psychosomatic.
