You have a SATA drive, not IDE. XP doesn't recognize SATA drives unless the drivers are loaded at the start of XP setup. Either that or enter the BIOS & change the HDD setting to "IDE compatibility", "IDE legacy", or whatever it's called. You should then be able to install XP. You can then install the SATA drivers & change the BIOS setting back again.

I entered bios, advance, internal divices config.../ -sata controller enable ide controller enable...f10 save exit. Loaded recov disk and same thing :"hard disk cannot be fujitsu.."...I gonna check the link you provided and keep you posted. thanks for your time.
