Sir
I recently upgraded my machine with Intel P-IV D915GAV Board and everything is working fine except one problem. There are two USB Slots in the front panel along with two Audio slots (one for mic/line-in and another for audio out). Where as the Audio works fine .. the USB slots are not recognised. What could be the problem. Thanks in advance.

I've had cases/motherboards where the pin configuration of the front USB header on the MOBO did not match the pin configuration of the female plug of the cable going to the case USB.

Your MOBO manual probably has a diagram of the pin configuration. If it is not the same as the pin configuration of your old MOBO, you will need to modify or replace the female plug

This document gives some explanation of checking if the pin configurations are correct and how to fix if they are not: http://www.clearcomputercase.com/Instructions/USB-3072002.PDF#search='usb%20header%20wire%20color'
