Comment:

hello
i have Althon 1800XP+ and 512 PC2100 DDR RAM and my mobo is Gigabyte GA-7DXE. My front side bus at the moment is on default (100mHz)but i wanted to change it too (133mHz) with the switch on the mobo. I was wondering if i can do it with my system without anything happening to my computer after.

If yes, would i have to change any setting in my bios?

thanks

Your system is designed to run at 133 FSB...by all means, change it! There may be a jumper on the board and/or a setting in the BIOS as well. Check your manual. If you don't have one, download it from the Gigabyte website.
