Hi, I'm just about done building my new computer and have one thing left to do; wiring the front panel connectors to the mobo. However, given that it is my first time, I'm confused as to which wire is which. On my mobo diagram, all it says is, ground wire here, power wire here...etc. On my case, I have all these two-wire cables, consisting of a white and a color wire, for exmaple, red+white. So can I assume that the white wire is the ground? Also, my reset cable, both wires are gray, how can I distinguish between the two? Thanks for the help in advacne

you can assume that white is ground in this case. Go ahead and assemble it that way, and then turn on your system... if the lights work, you've got it right. If not, flip them.
In regards to the reset, it doesn't matter how you put it on the mobo because all that does is short the 2 pins together causing the system to reboot.

I think he means the connectors for the front panel? If an ATX system, there should be speaker, power led, hdd led, power & reset (maybe keyswitch, also). The speaker is usally black/red but has a 4-pin connector. The only think to keep in mind is the led's; the only work in one direction. So if the led's don't light one way, reverse the connections. The others are switches so it shouldn't matter. Just be be sure you plug all into the proper headers on the motherboard.
