I bought this new case which has an audio and mic plugs on the front of case. My motherboard is a PC CHIPS M825G, It does have the pins to connect the audio and mic from the front of the case but the case only has 5 wires, SPK-R, SPK-L, GND, MIC(Red color wire), and GND. According to the Board's manual I need to remove the jumper caps from pin 5-6 and 9-10 but I don't know where to put the wires from the case, since the case only have 5 wires and the manual shows more. Whats on the manual its not what I have coming from the front of the case. this is what the manual shows: 1- AUD_MIC / 2- AUD_GND 3- AUD_MIC_BIAS / 4- AUD-VCC 5- AUD_FPOUT_R / 6- AUD_RET_R 7- HP_ON / 8- KEY 9- AUD_FPOUT_L / 9 AUD_RET_L
Does anybody know if the wires from the front of the case have to match to the ones that the manual shows? my case only has five wires. I'll appreciate any help. Thanks
SPK-R to 5- AUD_FPOUT_R , SPK-L to 9- AUD_FPOUT_L , GND to 6- AUD_RET_R & 9 AUD_RET_L, GND to 2- AUD_GND, MIC(Red color wire) to either 1- AUD_MIC, 3- AUD_MIC_BIAS or 4- AUD-VCC
