Hi there
I just got done installing my new video card (club3d hd3870). I made sure I deleted all my old video card drivers and then ran drivercleaner pro. The new card seems to have installed ok but my problem is that everytime I reboot, the "Found New Hardware Wizard" window pops up. I've no idea why it's doing this, so if any of you guys can help that'd be great.

Look in Device Manager for Yellow or Red exclamation marks by hardware entries. If you don't see what device is being found you might try the program linked below.

Now you mention it there is one question mark. It says Unknown Device. When it click on properties it says Location 65535 (Internal High Definition Audio Bus)

Sounds like you need to install some sound drivers.

You need to determine if the sound is intergrated on the MBoard or an add in card. You can look at the back of the tower and figure that out. Add in cards are down lower and are installed with a screw. Integrated is up at the top with the USB, NIC, etc.

Download SIW for aid in determining what you are working with. Find SIW at the link below.

You used "drivercleaner pro", maybe it removed the sound drivers.

Does your sound seem to work OK?

If it is associated with your new card then have the hardware wizard search the driver disk for the new card. Sometimes windows won't get all the drivers on the first pass.
