Found my old palm Vx and trying to connect

via cradle cable to my ThinkPad but the connector from the cable has no where to plug into. There is a port of the same shape but isn't the reciprocal, it is the same Palm plug, expecting something with pins. Is there something I can buy that I can convert the Palm connector with?
