former raid 0 drives not seen in Windows

Specs: Windows 7 x64, AMD
I have pair of WD hard drives that were a raid 0 array. One of them was having problems, so I set up a new boot drive on a new hd. I deleted the array and formatted the drives using the bootable Acronis Backup & Recovery.
Bootable Acronis and the raid utility (onboard hardware controller from nvidia) can see the drives, but nowhere in Windows can I see the drives. Checked in Disk Management and the Windows version of Acronis. Anyone know why?
As a side note, the raid utility does not show the other two drives as available. Is it somehow reserving the two it sees?

Following a suggestion, I tried cloning the boot drive to each of the two drives, but they are still not visible from Windows.
