Formatting my slave

Hi.
I just bought a new harddrive and I wish to format the old one. When I try to format through Windows (right-click on icon i My Computer and pressing "format"), it just hangs and nothing is deleted.

You must have both drives jumpered correctly for master and slave. If your O/S is on the master you can format the slave. (It muist be recognized by BIOS first.)
Alternatively you can boot from a floppy and format it, but make sure you format the correct one!
