HELP!! I'm trying to format a p3 laptop, but unfortunately it only has a USB cd-rw drive, and no floppy. I know that it's not the ideal setup, but if anyone can help as to how I go about doing this, it would be extremely appreciated. I have tried changing the boot order, but the CD drive isn't recognised in BIOS. A friend suggested a BIOS upgrade, but as far as I'm aware they are only usable on a floppy.
Once again, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The BIOS needs to support USB for this to work. I doubt a P3 BIOS would (even with an upgrade). Search for the BIOS upgrade and see if USB support was one of the updates.
I read of a way to run a flash from a hdd partition. I will see if I can find it again. Or maybe someone here already knows how?

Also, if you can update the bios, you will need to copy the atapi drivers to the hdd and add them to the config.sys and autoexec.bat.
