Hi there,
I have just bought a 30GB external hard drive to transfer video files from my mac to my PC, the problem i have is my video files at larger than 4 GB, so using FAT32 i can not copy the files onto the harddrive, is there a format that allows me to copy my video files from my mac to my external harddrive that i can then copy of to my PC?
thanks

C.Miff

You could convert one of your FAT32 drives to NTFS.

(edit) Or you could split up your large videos into segments under 4gb.

Use win rar to split the file.

I agre use RAR to split files, otherwise you will need a utility that allows macs to write to NTFS, I don't know of any free one's.
Here's one from Paragon: http://www.paragon-software.com/hom...
