Hello there,
I am running Windows 98SE and have just bought an Excel USB2.0 3.5" HDD External Storage System (30G). I have installed the driver and the computer recognises the new drive as mass storage Removable drive F. Could someone please tell me how to format the drive so I can start using it for storage.

Right-click on it and format it as though it were a floppy drive. If you click on Properties, it will be under one of the tabs, but I'm pretty sure it will be one of the options just above Properties.

Thank you that worked perfectly. If anyone else reads this make sure your anti virus is turned off before formatting. Thanks again Astroaptor
