Ok so eariler i posted on my cpu not working, and having to send back ram/video card.

I got my new ram and video card today (gforce 6600 GT 128mb) and ram that i know for a fact works with my MB i looked it up on kingston.com

SO, im very sure everythings hooked up, and when i power up all lights and fans come on at all areas (power supply, vcard, processor, MB) and yet i have no picture on my monitor.

first steps to take?

Do you get a POST beep when you try to boot?
Are you certain the monitor works? To test it simply disconnect the monitor cable from the graphics port and turn it on. you should get an on-screen error message about signal out of range. If this does not display then the monitor is faulty.
Once you determine that the monitor is working then you can work on isolating the problem.
To get a successful POST you need only a few basic components connected. Powersupply, Motherboard, CPU, Graphics card, Keyboard, 1 stick of RAM.
Disconnect everything else including all drives and any extra PCI cards.
It may also be worth manually resetting the bios by use of the appropriate jumper or by temporarily removing the CMOS battery.

If after resetting the bios, and stripping the system back to barebones, you still get no display then you have isolated the problem to either motherboard, CPU, ram or graphics card. Since you indicate the ram and graphics cards are both new then you may have failure in either or both of motherboard and CPU.
At this point I would suggest taking it to a tech to have those components tested rather than buying more replacement parts based on guesswork.

I used to have a signature but it disappeared and I just couldn't be bothered writing another so please feel free to ingore this.

Good advice from Richard. One additional tip. You should get some error beeps if the RAM and/or video card is removed.

awesome, ill do that. and i do not get any beeps at all. MB has never beeped. i can take out my CPU and try it in another computer, and should that just start right up? honestly its my first computer im building and im pretty decent with this im in school for it but this has stumped me.

the monitor works, so i guess its either the MB or processor. i really hope its the MB. the processor was like 250 bucks =/

You didn't say this was a new build and has never worked. In this situation it could be something as simple as a standoff in the wrong place shorting out the motherboard. recheck all power and fan connections as well.
