does anyone know if it posible to capture a video in high resolution (more than 240*320)?

Yes you need to buy a good video card to do it. ATI makes a bunch of them!

If you are capturing from a VHS tape that
is better than the resolution of the tape.

If your have a DVR then use firewire.

There is no reason of trying to capture
at a higher resolution than your source.

Yes you can. But buying a GREAT video card will not help you because you are suffering from the limit of your hard drive speed!

You use virtualdub?
