I got some new floppies to make boot disk, the file size i wanna put on them is 1.40, the size of the floppies says 1.44, when i go to properties the size is 1.38, is there away to format to the right size,thank you

I have formatted and the size is the same, you mean format to a different size?

The size of a floppy with no bad sectors on it is 1.457664 bytes. If you format /s the hidden files take the space and the formatted floppy will have command.com usually visible on it.
