Floppy disk fail (40) after new ram

just went on pc about 10 mins ago all boots up fine then i go to install my xtra 512 ddr get it in and all boots up ok until i get floppy disk fail 40 is it poss that i knocked the cable loose slightly press f1 to continue to load my ram says 1gb so i know thats ok gona chk cablein of fdd drive report lata findings

Power cable connecting the FDD came out re-connected it all systems back to normal + 512 ram givin me 1GB
