I just bought a new 19" flat panel monitor. The computer games that use to run great on my old monitor looks very jerky, runs slow, and freezes up for short periods on this new monitor. Should I go back to my old CRT?, thank you.

That happens sometimes on high graphics games like hl2 and other first person shooters. If it does that on like warcraft 3 then there might be something wrong. I think the reason it does that is because lcd and plasma monitors don' refresh.

I assume you are running your adapter at a higher resolution. If so it is taking both the game and the graphics adapter a lot more time to render the screen, making the game seem slow. You could try setting a lower resolution supported by the monitor and see if that helps, but that will reduce the image quality.
