I have an old Tyan Tomcat IV dual processor board that I would like to flash to a newer BIOS. I have the BIOS file, but the manufacturer's website doesn't specify which Award Flash utility to use for this board. There are at least three. The question: WILL ANY AWARD FLASH UTILITY WORK FOR FLASHING AN AWARD 4.51PG BIOS?
If the flash utility isn't the correct one, will it damage the BIOS in anyway, or just halt?

Hi.
If you can't find the right flash util just use UNIflash. Search google for Flash anything anywhere. The flash util shoudn't matter. As long as the BIOS file is the correct one. Using uniflash will flash the EEPROM no matter what! So, you must be sure that it is the correct BIOS file!
