I purchased a new flash drive about 3 months ago (Lifetime Memory 4GB drive). The other day when I plugged it into the computer, nothing happened. I couldn't find the drive on the computer anywhere and couldn't access the files. The only thing that I can think of that happened between now and then that may have affected it would have been a power outage. My computer shut off while the flash drive was plugged in. Is there any way to recover the data that is on the drive?

I'm sorry, I should have been more clear. I've tried several computers and nothing happens. The light (on the flash drive itself) comes on, but the computers don't seem to register anything.

I should also mention that I have another flash drive that doesn't give me any trouble in the computer that I am using.

May be power outage has hampered your Flash Drive. I think its hard for software’s to determine the real problem in your SSD and the only solution I can give is to consult the Data Recovery Experts. Source: www.eprovided.com
