flash drive not working with dvd player

March 23, 2010 at 15:26:31
Specs: Windows Vista
I have just bought a integral 8gb evo usb flash drive and my dvd player (which is a daytron) has a usb hub. for some reason i cant get my dvd player to accept the flash drive. I have transfered a few photos and movie clips using my laptop (i had no problems doing this) but the dvd player wont recognize it whatsoever.
My dvd player already has divx player and ive used the usb hub before but it wont accept this pen drive. Can anyone help me out please ??? Maybe i should reformat the flash drive ????
Any ideas would be much appreciated
Thank you

Reformatting the flash drive may help the DVD player recognize it but, lets face it sometimes hardware just isn't compatible with another. do you have other flash drives? is so try them and see if the problem persists, if not look at you owners manually for the DVD player and see types of usb devices it can support.
