Fitted new PSU, now moitor wont work?

Specs: Windows XP
Hi, I fitted a new PSU to my PC, which got the thing starting again. The Monitor shows the startup process with the Windows XP logo etc, then the Monitor just says 'no input signal', and refuses to show anything else. I never had this problem before i fitted the PSU.

Any ideas???

We could use some information on your computer specs.

Without any other information my guess would be that you dislodged an add in video card.

Also possible that when the old power supply died it ruined other components.

If you disconnected all the cables from the back of the tower you may have the monitor connected to the wrong place.

After reading response #2 I also suspect the new PSU as being undersized. When you first start the computer the graphics run at minimal specs. After Windows starts the full power of the GPU comes into play. Your new PSU may not be strong enough to support your GPU.
