Hello anybody, I have just completed my first computer build, and I am really stumped.
I have a ELITEGROUP P965t-A motherboard. Intel 2 dual core processor and a GIGABYTE HD 4550 graphics accelerator card.
When I power my system up, everything starts up. But there is no onboard video, but I do have my monitor plugged into the DVI slot on my graphics card. But my monitor says "No Video detected."
Any ideas what I can do to resolve this problem, will be much appreciated.
If you didn't benchtest the hardware before installing it in the case, it's tough to say what may have gone wrong. Does the card require an aux power connection from the power supply? If so, did you plug it in?

A little tip. The motherboard, CPU, RAM and graphics adapter all have to be working to get a display.

Do you have a power connector plugged into the graphics card, if required? Below is a link to the motherboard.
