Hi all, I'm building my first PC and was thinking about putting my old HDD with XPmedia centre in it, as well as a new HDD with Vista on it. Is this easy to do? If so, how do i go about it, ie switching drives etc? Thanks in advance.
So long, and thanks for all the fish!

Make sure to benchtest the board BEFORE installing it in the case!
I'm not familair with the way Vista works, but "XPmedia centre" will have to be reinstalled using the "repair install" method.

Yeah if you are installing vista on your new pc and if it notices that you have xp on your other hard drive it will setup a dual boot automaticly.
"Windows Me II aka Windows Vista."

" XPmedia Centre" did this come pre-installed with your old pc, ie OEM, if so it is tied to your old PC.

do you want to actually boot from xp media centre?
If you boot from vista you would still be able to access files on the old XP hard disc.
You vista hard disc would probably be the C drive and your old xp hard disc the D drive
