I have just bought a new PC case with ports at the front for Firewire and USB connections, but although the case comes with a million and one new (to me anyway!) cables to connect, there was no booklet to show where they should be attached to my motherboard.
The m/b is quite old now, and i was wondering if i may have to purchase a new m/b to take advantage of these new connections, or maybe there is some kind of internal PCI card i could get. At the moment i have all these new connections, and nothing to connect them to the m/b or relevant card and make sure they work.
Can't help you with plugging the cables. You will probably need the motherboard manual for that. If the mobo doesn't have USB or Firewire, you can add it with a PCI card (if you have a free slot).
