Hi I just got myself a DVD burner LG GSA-4163B. I have a large abmount of motorsport clips and long movies on my hardrive I would like to view on my DVD player (Home system). Which is the most appropriate software to use so the film is compatable with DVD viewing?

if they're in mpeg, the best shareware is (imo) TMPGEnc Plus to encode. You'll find a trial at http://www.pegasys-inc.com
And to create the DVD, you can use TMPGEnc DVD Author or DVD-lab PRO (http://www.mediachance.com/)

If you have Nero, you can use Nerovision Express. It's easy to use, but I've experienced some problems when encoding some .avi's.

Good luck,

~Liz
