Today I went to turn on my PC and it took it about 8 minutes too boot up. So I turned off all the start up items but it still lagged way behind the usual start up time. I ran wcpuid and it was clocked at 498.9 but feels way slower. Any help I get would be greatly apreciated, Thanks in Advance

When was the last time you ran scandisk and defragmented your harddrive? Have you changed your setup at all? Updated any drivers or your OS prior to the slowdown? Have you added anything like a network card to your system? Have you installed any programs that run at startup?
