got me a better motherboard than me previous jetway v266b a ABIT NF7-M so now i have masesses of power i feel my comp power supply is running x2 as much faster as i can feel the power pack gettin hot from outside the case i could fry an egg on my power supply i currently have a 350 watt and cus of this heat ime guessing my total usage for me Comp is more than 350 as me grahpics requires min 300 what would be an ample power supply to go up 2 440, 500, 800, advice would be appreciated

How many hard drives, CD drives, which video card, CPU, etc. are you running?

Honestly, a good quality 420W would be fine most likely.

Last I checked newegg was selling a Thermaltake 420W for $40 shipped.

What are your temps...system & CPU? & how many case cooling fans do you have? The PSU acts as an exhaust fan so you may just be feeling the added heat being sucked from the case

Yeah, a 420W should do. I've got that one, it's very nice. And the voltages are very stable.

and 1 case fan the black ones for about 3 quid and ime gona get a bigger case on of the Midi Cosmos cases 4=5 drive bays with the clear side pannel and case fan on the side to extract all hot air inisde i got a small ATX CASE 3 drive bays and everything it almost tightly packed so ime hopeing with a bigger & cooler case and and a bigger power supply games & all should play no problems.
