failure fixed disk

when i start my computer it goes beep beep and sends error code 0200 failure fixed disk 0 if i press F1 to resume i then get operating system not found.if i reboot it it starts after 1 or 2 tries.once started i have no problems with my laptop at all. my laptop is just over 2 years old.can anyone help?

Contact Dell. It should still be under Warranty. All you'll need is the ST number.

dell says it isnt hard drive problem. all the information i have read says it is. dell therefore just say send it back to them at a cost of god knows what.i dont trust them. dont know make of my hard disk to know if its covered,but if it is hard disk totally kaput, have been quoted £60 by reputable engineer for new one. this is probably cheaper than sending it to dell and will be back within a day thanks for the suggestion though
