You have the Spyware Doctor anti-malware program installed on your computer and a file is missing or corrupted for it.

Example line from a HighJack This! log file for someone else's computer that is getting the same message:

O23 - Service: Browser Defender Update Service - Unknown owner - C:\Spyware Doctor\BDT\BDTUpdateService.exe (file missing)

(DO NOT post HighJack This! log files on this web site ! )

Apparently, sometimes malware buggers that up, or removing malware with some other program buggers up that by deleting a file, probably because a file in Spyware Doctor was contaminated.

Go to Control Panel - Classic View - Add or Remove Programs
Un-install Spyware Doctor .

If you want to use Spyware Doctor again, install it again, but personally I think it's crap.

OR - If you have the installation file for the SAME version of Spyware Doctor, you could try NOT un-installing it, run the installtion again.
