My internal DVD/CD burner is not working... another problem... so I connected my older Ezquest Boa DVD RW burner with Firewire. It will burn CDs but with DVDs it continues to give an error -50... "connection unstable" or an incompatible message between the computer and the burner device, and doesn't burn, just spits it back out. Using Toast Titanium 10, also tried using the Burn program that comes with the Mac.
The drive is a dual layer dvd burner. Could the error message be caused because I'm not using DL dvds?
