Hi! My hubby and I have been using his PD for both his Command & Conquer 4 Tiberian Twilight, and my photo editing.

His pc is connected to a 36" insignia tv.

When I connect them via VGA cable, the screen is clear and crisp for photos, but his C+C game won't launch. (I spent 3hours on EA's website last night looking for a patch or information and NOTHING worked).

His game DOES work when I connect an HDMI cable, but the screen looks bery grainy, and I can't edit photos on here at all, the quality is so bad.

It can't be good for the machine to be plugging and unplugging monitor cables 2-3x daily.

Graphics cards are up to date.

AMD II X61090T Processor 3.20 GHz
8.00 GB Ram
Windows 7
Display: ATI RAdeon HD 4800.

I either need to be able to connect via HDMI, and have the grainyness fixed, OR be able to gonnect via VGA and have the game run.

I have tried connecting HDMI, and running catylyst control, and I am unable to modify the overscan at all.

Any ideas at all?? Please help!

What is the screen resolution set to? Find your TV on the following list, check the specs for what the max screen resolution should be, then make sure that's what you're using:
