I wanted to run an extra fan and kind of zip tie it towards my video card. I was also thinking maybe I should add one to the front case. My DELL did not come with one in the front only the back and the power supply. I put in a soopa doopa geforce card and I just want to keep it cool. Stupid idea or just let it alone. I await professional opinions here.

The graphics card you bought will come with sufficient cooling built onto it as long as you have sufficient ciruclation in your case. The best idea when cooling a case is to have all the fans on one side in such as way as the air is drawn in through one inlet to the case, and moves out through the other side of the case. This usually means having the fans pushing air out through the back of the case which in turn will mean it is sucked in through the front and passes over the cpu. This will give you good cirulation in the case and therefore good cooling throughout.

an intake fan in the front would be good, but a rear exhaust fan is more efficient. it'll suck out all the air, which will cause a vaccuum and have air come in from other parts of the case.
you can get a pci slot fan, and put it on the slot right under your agp or pci video card.

I wanted to add a fan to the front since I have a big one in the back already. I added it to the bottom of the case towards the front and pointed it a little up towards the vid card. It moves alot of air but with the case I have I cant get it closer to the front to pull more air in. Not sure if this is really gonna do anything. I will keep messing with it. Thanks
