Hi,

How can i test a external Notebook Hard Drive for bad sectors. Its connected to my PC thru USB. Samsung utilty wont detect it coz i think connected thru usb.

One way is to boot it with the HD manufacturer's diagnostic tools. What HD is in the machine?

the HD is not in a machine, its an external drive, manufacturer is samsung

Chkdsk has an option to test for bad sectors.
Try chkdsk X: /r
Change X: to your external drive's letter.
