|I have an Asus N61jq-b2 running windows 7 64-bit and I believe I have a corrupted registry because although I can boot and run applications whenever I attempt to use external media such as a pen drive or CD my computer will be unable to assign it a path (E:,etc.).|
I have tried about every fix for this on the internet and I have decided to restore my OS. However as external media does not work I have 100gb+ of applications and documents which I was too lazy to back up. Now I am left with the task of trying to save this data.
I have a 1tb WD external HDD and need to move files from my 2.5" laptop hard drive to my external hard drive without booting into windows. I do have other computers which I could use if necessary to help me back up my data. I would prefer not to back up online (I have slow internet) but if that is the only way to back up say so.
