i just bought aa external cdrom from ebay and got it without the drivers and cant seem to figure out how to install it. it connects into the port normally used by a printer but windows95 does not detect it. i,ve tried to find drivers but keep beind told win95 doesnt need them. the cdrom has a label "v2" but when i opened it up it has a sony sticker on the actuall cd unit. it also has the numbers 314660 and "version BB". i,ve tried hardware wisard but still no joy. I NEED HELP PLLLLLLLLSSSSSSSSSSSS

What brand is the external drive? Since it connects to the parallel port, I would suspect it does indeed need drivers installed so Windows knows what it is.
