Very frequently my receipt printer (epson TM 220 U) dose not responds to the print command. I need to switch off and switch on then it starts printing. Printer is connected to Parallel Port with Generic Text Pinter drivers are used. Unable to uderstand the problem.
How long is the parallel cable? Is the cable of the required type. There are several different types. All have the same connectors on the ends. I assume there are no dedicated drivers for the version of Windows you are using?
