ethernet driver

Operating Win XP on HP PC. Trying to connect my wireless I lost my ethernet connection capability for internet however I can get on the internet via USB & wireless adapter/cable from the same modem. Understand and beleive I have lost some drivers can you please guide. My other Pc works fine with wireless, ethernet and wireless.
