eSata ports not seeing HD enclosure with 2HDs

Specs: Windows 7
Dilemma: I just bought a new Dell Zino HD 400 because it had multiple eSata ports in back. My intention was to use a Rosewill RSV-S4-X RAID sub-system so that I would be able to access multiple drives. Unfortunately, the Dell only recognizes one drive out of two in the enclosure. Interestingly enough, when I boot windows 7 in setup mode, all of a sudden both lights on the Rosewill come on - indicating that it sees both drives. It appears to be a driver issue, but I cannot install the proper drivers as Windows 7 will not let me disable automatic driver installation (nice "feature", bill).

Dell Zino HD's eSata ports do not support port multipliers. You can't hook up any drive enclosures that have multiple drives in them (like Drobo, or Addonics Mini Tower). Sad fact that after 6 years the standard was introduced there are still vendors not supporting it properly.
