The computer just wouldnt boot so tried a restore with Keriver and it failed saying HDD Error So tried and Install of OS and this is what came up Distributed Transaction Coordinator Setup Error Sub-component Distributed Transaction Coordinator raised an exemption while processing the OC_COMPLETE_INSTALLATION setup message d:\nt\com\com1x\dtc\ntdtcsetup\src\csetuputil.cpp [line.2725] Error Code = 0x8007007f The specified procedure could not be found failed to load the library "C:\WINDOWS\System32\msdtcuiu.dll"

Is this a server install? If not and you cannot do a Repair install, I would suggest formating and reinstalling of the OS. If you are trying to save the existing data, slave the drive on another computer and copy the data first then do the above.
