Specs: N/A
Resource Conflict-PCI Bus: 02, Device: 01, Function: 00

I have a Toshiba laptop without a hard disk SL10.
Well, there is an error BIOS.
I try to run live cd ubuntu 10.04 loads the disc and then a black screen or a system not found. In the old version 7.10 but can be run without graphics mode. I noticed that as the system load bars are shown on the screen and at the right corner of the screen is as if blurred vision. I took out the CMOS battery and it did not work
Is that how it turned out that it is faulty video card or could it would be repaired at low cost?

If you have a PCMCIA device plugged in, remove it and see if the error goes away.

So you get the Resource conflict when you are starting the ubuntu disc? or in the bios? if it is ubuntu you may want to set acpi=0 I know there were some acpi issues with some toshibas.

on Kubuntu 9.04 but runs on Ubuntu systems.

Here is a youtube video showing you how to set the options at boot. Also I think on that distro it's acpi=no
